Facebook for Blackberry Bold 9700 notifications?

At first my notifications were showing up on my fb app and would show up on my phone not as a txt or email. Now my fb notifications aren't showing up on my app. I don't want text or email notifications. I want fb app notifications if that makes sense. I do get fb email which i hate

You can go to settings and then facebook setting and turn notifications on or go to setting and if u see a notifications icon there, go there and turn on notifications for fb
