I've been getting this message every time I tried to access my inbox.

"There was a problem accessing your Yahoo! Mail Account. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Your account appears to have been deactivated, as you may not have accessed it for some time. Furthermore, we are currently unable to retrieve your account due to some temporary technical difficulties. Please contact Customer Care regarding Error Code 3 and we will try to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Thank you,
The Yahoo! Mail Team."

I regularly check my Yahoo mail on a weekly basis, so I am not sure why it has been deactivated. This has been going on for more than one week now and I desperately need to access my inbox. Is there any way I can get help in fixing this issue?
Thank you.

I received error codes 14 and 15 and now it says Yahoo Mail is undergoing maintenance. Hundreds of thousands in the exact same position as you.

For quite a few users mail has been down for many hours - meanwhile a message was posted on the official Yahoo Twitter blog: "We know some of our users are unable to use Yahoo Mail. We're on it & trying to restore access in a few hours. Sorry for the inconvenience."
User comments after the message was posted weren't exactly favourable...:-(

Note: one of my contacts also had this problem - he temporarily disabled Java scripting and could get into his mail account that way. And once he was in, he enabled Java scripting again - maybe this will help others too...
