He has my number but he won't text me?

His friend gave him my number, even though he probably doesn't know I know. It obvious he likes me, and he's also been telling a few people he does. We won't see each other for 2-3 weeks and we don't use facebook or skype etc. He said I was gorgeous and was stalking my school profile the other day haha
He hasn't text me yet and I don't have his number, but his friend was sure he would. He could be busy doing work or something, I'm just wondering. Unless he doesn't want to seem creepy or annoying, but how would we communicate then?

wait two or three weeks it won't kill your relationship it would be rude of him to text you unless you gave him your number send him a friend request with your number or something.
