Is there a better Forum for answers than Yahoo Answers?
I have been on Yahoo Answers for years but the new format is maddening. It only allows me to answer a few questions, will never load the next page, and on some categories it keeps giving me the same questions over and over. I used the Canada version for a while because it kept the old, working format but now it has changed to this new mess as well. Any suggestions for other Forums? I enjoy answering questions and helping people but this new Yahoo format is a total disaster and despite the thousands of responses against it they refused to go back to the working version.

There are similar sites, but you will find things about the same or much worse than on YA. Allexperts is a site where you submit questions to specific experts and wait for an answer (2-3 days). LivePerson is faster, but you pay for the answers. If all you want is chat and fun, try Facebook, Askmeanswer, Chatzy, or Yackzone. Many can be found at the first reference. There are also specialty sites depending on the subject. Note the sites Askville (Amazon) and Dizzay have closed due to no profit.

This new format really does work. You just haven't figured it out yet. Personally I found I like it better than the green one -- once I got used to where things are and how they work now.

If you want another Q&A site, there's always Answerbag, but I don't like that one because chat is allowed. If I want chat, I'll go to a social contact site or a chat room. If I want Q&A, I'll use Quora or Y!A.

Were you aware that there was the same reaction to the green format you like when it was first rolled out as there has been to the new purple one? It has far less to do with how it works than it does with your suddenly feeling you don't know how to do everything like you did on the old one.

Anyway, once you get used to where everything is and how the new format works, I think you'll like it. I switched when it first came out so I could become knowledgeable enough to be able to help others with it. If you want to ask me some things about the new format, I accept emails and even answer most of them.

There are no more "pages" here, just an enormously long list. To get to what used to be other pages, scroll down to the bottom of the page you're on, and wait about 3 seconds for the computer to figure out what's what. Another page's worth of the list of questions (or answers or whatever you're looking at) appears below where you are. Keep scrolling down.

Y/A is useful at times, but for entertainment only, I like the Question and Answer section on the Experience Project site.

I haven't read it yet, but Yahoo have written a blog about the responses they have had, and some of the changes to the changes
It sounds like you have a cache problem if you can't roll down and reach a page that will not add
As I work in Categories I go to the top of the page to get back to their main page and don't answer those to the right, or use the Next button.
After the time and effort you have put in here over the years, it seems strange you want to give that away rather than trying to adopt the new system
