How do I delete photo tags from my Facebook news feed without untagging myself from the pictures?

Please don't say "click on the icon at the top right of the posts, because photo tags don't give you the option to take them off your wall like regular status posts on your wall..

I don't like and don't have timeline and do not want to add it until FB forces me to so I'd like an answer not relating to the timeline as well please..

I'm looking for a specific answer. I want my wall to appear blank. I'm just using FB for chat and writing on other people's walls now, but I'd still like to tag myself in photos everynow and then, but I hate the fact that tagging myself in pictures from my albums creates annoying wall posts..
I already checked FB help center and it wasn't any help..
