Get rid of a Twitter follower?
So I know it's weird, but I HATE being followed on Twitter by the people I know. Like, most of them are fine, but they get all up in my business, and it drives me insane. Anyway, someone that I know followed me the other day, and I immediately clicked "block." However, this person is still on my followers list. I want to know how to get them off. Like, are they still seeing my stuff? Do I need to watch what I say? I need a little help. :/

If you blocked them, then they are blocked and they can't follow you. Even though they may be on your followers list for a while, be assured that they are blocked. However, if your tweets aren't Protected, then anyone - even blocked people - will still be able to read all your tweets if they visit your page.

You can protect your Tweets in your account settings page, following these steps:
Log in to your Twitter account
Visit your Account Settings Page by selecting Settings from the drop-down menu on the right hand side of your screen.
Scroll down and check the box next to Protect my Tweets
Save your changes
