what shall I do next?

I met this really nice Russian guy in Moscow over the weekend. I used to live there and I was visiting friends for a reunion and I met this guy at a mutual friends concert.

As soon as we saw each other he seemed really keen and spoke to me for a long time. He made eye contact and wanted to sit next to me during the concert. He connected with me over facebook while sitting next to me and asked loads of questions about me.

During the interval he said he hopes I can visit again. I asked if he was coming to the after party and he said he was working very early the next day. At the end he said goodbye quietly. I wasn't sure if he was just making an excuse however I noticed on Facebook he was up very early at a work conference.

A day later I got back to London and he messaged me:

Hi, ******! It was great to meet you this Saturday. How are you doing? Hope to see you soon. )))

I replied a day later with great to meet you to, I'm good (and you blah blah in a bit of Russian)! I said I start a new job in January so he knows I won't be able to visit Moscow so soon...I also said I've been preparing for christmas just to say normal stuff....

Then he replied a minute later with oh, great to know that) I'm very well, thank you (my name) I'm at office now) Speak later. Have a great day xoxo

I feel like he wants something more from me. Any advice? Reality is I want to see him again. I'm not sure about Russian men and how things are done. I guess I'll let him take the lead.

I start a new job in Turkey soon, so I'm sure he'll see that on facebook...

In his last email he didn't ask me a question so I'll let him write back to me or do you think I should reply? Or see if he contacts me again?

He's liked a few of my facebook posts so I know he's been looking at my profile...

Is xoxo a romantic thing?

I really felt like we clicked and had lots in common,,,,I really felt like he wanted to see more of me... I'm thinking of sending him an ecard for Christmas..what do you think?

Would love to hear thoughts, experiences or suggestions...I think I will be in Russia in the spring but I'd like to hear from him again...

Do I reply to his last message? Or wait until I can wish him Happy New Year! He has liked many of my photos and statuses...so I know he's monitoring me...

You're going to be in Turkey, he's in Moscow. Don't see you both being together. Put him in the friendzone, and keep shopping for someone closer to where you are.
