It's like tupperware of amway. You try to sell things to your friends. Like mary Kay. You have parties in people's houses and then try to sell them things...through social pressure. I hate it because you are trying to use 'friends' for financial gain and i feel it taints the relationship. They sell baskets home decor and lingere and lots of stuff this way. Pampered chef. But i hate being invited to those kind of parties.

It's pyramid selling.

The idea is that you sell a product and then 'recruit' poeple to sell it, and take a cut of their profit. They then recruit people to see for them and take a cut of THEIR profit, you getting profit from EVERYBODY now. In theory in a few years you can kick back and let everyone make money for you.

Nice idea in theory, but you have to have a damn good product, and be in it from the very beginning.

If someone is trying to 'recruit' you, I'd recommend you run in the opposite direction.
