Facebook wall... I need help ?

I have had this facebook for a few years now , keeping up with long distant friends and family but, lately everyone has been telling me that they cannot write on my wall and it's pissing them off as well as myself. I don't know what to do.
I've been in the privacy settings and everything is checked..
The facebook settings and homepage have been changed so many times in the past couple of years that now everything is messed up.
please help me?

Here's the steps!

Facebook --> Account --> Privacy settings --> Customize settings --> scroll down to where it says "things others share" make sure the box is checked that says Friends can post on my Wall

That should do it!

Oh, and nothing funny happened to me.. I was stuck in school

Honestly i dont really know whats wrong.
Go to the side and scroll down on the last button where you sign out and click help, and it should help maybe?

Also something funny that happened today hmmm, i was in this store and i was talking to this person who i thought was someone else, turns out it wasnt who i thought it was haha

Well have you tried having facebooks help? They might be the ones to contact if you have tried everything and one funny thing (well I guess its kinda funny) is that I was laying on the couch with my baby brother and he was falling asleep so I started watching my shows like Suite Life on Deck and all of a sudden I heard snoring! I looked down at my brother and it was him!
