I believe that there are plenty of benefits that social media has for individuals and society... but the greatest of them all is building relationships faster. Before, we have to wait for hours to get messages from our family, colleague or friends via email.. but now, we can see everyone's updates real-time... so we can connect better and faster, even with long lost loved ones, coworkers or friends. We're more engaged and connected than ever.
