Itouch problem: some of my apps open and immediately close. What is going on? ?

My itouch is having a weird issue. It works fine with everything except some apps. Tonight when I tried to open the facebook app it opened it for about a second and then immediately closed it. The same problem goes on with many other apps such as pandora. It seems like I have with problem with only the apps that didn't come with the touch that also use the internet.

My first thought is to reset it like I used to do with my nano when it would act up, but I don't know how to reset the touch. I am also a little nervous about doing that because I dont want to lose everything.

So how can i fix this?

Alright, I am having the very same problem, and I haven't quite figured out how to stop it all together.

Short Term solutions:
1) When you plug your iTouch into iTunes, on the page that opens with the picture of the iTouch, press Restore (underneath Update), and restore it to factory settings. It wont completely go away, it comes back after about a month, but for a while all the apps work.
2) Try downloading a NEW free application (anyone will do, you can delete it afterward if you are not happy with it), then the rest of the apps you downloaded before will work. Emphasis on the word new, as in you can't just delete your Facebook app then redownload it.
