How to get rid of Timeline and get original facebook format back?

Apparently I was the only dumbass to use the new timeline app, thinking it could just be a temporary thing. But its majorly creepy, I don't want to know what I did 5 years ago, nor do I want my friends to know. I have downsized my friend list due to a recent change in my life, so I trust everyone who can see my page... but still... its weird.

Can I get the original facebook format back, or should I consider getting rid of my whole profile?

you are going to have to get rid of your whole profile if that's how you feel

you cant go back to the old format, and within a week everyone will have to use the timeline format, so at least you wont be alone...
