Put older version of apps on iPod Touch 2G?
I have a second generation iPod touch and I downloaded a few apps on the internet like Facebook, Temple Run, and iBooks for ios 4.2.1. Whenever I try to put them on my iPod it says "an unknown error occurred" and won't out the apps on. What can I do to fix this problem? Help!

Due to your device's internal CPU and RAM, it will always be limited to running apps that use iOS 4.2.1 or earlier.

To find compatible apps you can use try,
https://sites.google.com/site/appleclubf...er-devices
or a vintage app finder site, https://www.facebook.com/VintApps313

Be sure to keep backups of any vintage apps you use.  Once a developer updates their app past your maximum iOS, a compatible version can never be downloaded again.
