What has gone wrong with our current generation?

What has gone wrong with our current generation?
This may NOT apply to you depending on how you were raised, what environment you're living in or what your unique way of life is. There's just this common problem that's affecting society, in almost all levels, as a whole.

-We overdose on drugs and alcohol without caring about the vulnerability of our health
-Most of the time we think and talk about is sex, sex, sex...and more sex
-Education is boring to us, thus we struggle to achieve success
-The mainstream music we listen to is horrible. But we all have our own tastes and should respect that. BUT, as of now, the music industry is killing true music
-We start drama when it isn't necessary
-We try to be popular and change our true character for the worse
-Our beliefs and habits are atrocious
-We litter everywhere. The streets are scattered with trash and there is graffiti around lots of places more than ever. Depending on where you live, garbage is disposed poorly.
-The internet has made some us a little lazy, obnoxious, brain-washed, mean and immature...if not, perverted or horny (porn, sexting, unprotected adolescent sex, rape, excessive masturbation, dirty chats on Omegle, Chatroulette, etc.)
-Cyber-bullying occurs daily on computers and other electronic devices

I think we all know that this is the media's and bad parent's fault. AGAIN, this may NOT apply to you! It's possible you're not anything like this, but some are.

Some people think that every generation was like this and it's always been that way. But this generation is unique and our children is going to experience the worse as time goes by. Sure, hopefully things might improve and get better, but's it's not always a guarantee. If our previous generations had lived perfect lives we would have lived even better ones. I'm afraid that's not true. My tone might sound pessimistic but all I'm trying to do is just state what our modern culture really is and how it could negatively affect other generations in the long run. This is serious.

Is the future of humanity in trouble? If so, what must be done? Is some sort of social revolution necessary?

I expect I'm going to attract some harsh critics from this. And to them, say what you want, just please don't see me as a negative or ignorant person who hates our current generation. Please believe I'm NOT overreacting. I did not intend to write this to make some people of our generation look ignorant, obnoxious or immature. I still have hope and respect for them. I'm just concerned for our future and that makes me show I care. I also know that culture changes over time. It just disappoints me that things are seemingly getting worse rather than better. Old problems from previous generations still exist which adds to even more problems of today's generation. And if you deny all of this no matter what, all I can do is conclude that you're ignorant. I believe something can be done as long as everyone works together. WE, as a united society, must do something to help this current generation ASAP. The most important question is, how?

No harsh critic here. I agree with the perception that you paint, but do not agree with all of the examples (most generations would say they are driven y sex, sex, sex - at least as far back as I can remember). But anyway, I think the terrible economy, wars, hate, greed and the current political mess does make it seem that many people have given up and as just acting in a manner to make them happy and they care little about others. Given the pervasive nature of it, I think humanity is being challenged, but things will get better as long as we have hope for the future and are willing to work hard, and be nice to others.
