It shows that me and her have a mutual friend and i know no one on her friend list. Could they be secret friends?

No they can't be secret friends, it's probably somebody that y'all were both friends with that deactivated their account. Don't worry. He's not hiding anything.

You could click on where it says one mutual friend and it will say who it is.
