Facebook app stuck on profile page?
I've a page on FB with like 7 other people for a rock band we have. We tried out the BandPage app for some time, but now we want to get rid of it. I went to the page, and I unliked and chose "Remove from favorites on your page". But now I've a serious problem: the icon for the page advertising the app is gone, but the app icon itself is still there. Not the tab on the side, I'm talking about the icons on the "Likes" zone. If I click on it, it tells me to install the app. So, I went to the privacy settings, apps, delete it... and is still there. Is FB nuts or is it because the other 7 guys probably have the app on their privacy settings too, since we are all admins? Either way, someone explain to me how to remove the icon. Thanks.

1.Click at the top right of any Facebook page and choose Account Settings.

2.From the menu in the left column, select App Settings.

3.Click the app you'd like to remove, then click the Remove app link. Once you confirm you’d like to remove the app, it will no longer have access to your data. It will be removed from your profile (timeline), bookmarks, and your Apps and Games home page dashboards.

To add an app to your Facebook Page, first go to the App About Page for the app you'd like to add. If the app is available to be added to your Page, you'll see an Add to Page link on the lower left-hand column.

that should fix it
