Apps missing on HTC Hero Market?

I have recently purcased a HTC Hero, i unlocked it from orange to t-mobile. my friend suggested some apps for me to download (Screen Off and Lock) and it and many others are not showing in my Market, but they do on his market on his HTC Desire. How Can i get these apps?? can i update the market? or are they just not compatable on my phone??

The Market should only show apps which are compatible with your phone, so it is possible that some apps which show on your friend's HTC Desire might not be compatible with your HTC Hero.

Have you tried signing into the Android Market online at https://market.android.com/ ?
