How do I tag people in a status on my Facebook page?

I made a Facebook page separate from my profile page and tried to tag a friend who had liked my page in a status but the person doesn't show up. How do I tag people on my Facebook page?
I am aware that the @ and then name can be used, thus the reason I said "I tried to tag a friend but they didn't show up." I mean, when I write @ [person], the drop box doesn't have people to choose from. It has like...other pages I can tag, but not friends.

it should show up then... unless your internet speed is slow then it'd take a while to load.

Put an @ sign then begin typing the name. A list of your friends should pop up to choose from.

You can only tag friends of your profile

to tag someone just start writing their name and a box should drop down showing you the people with names that are similar to the one you're writing

press @ then their name but a drop down menu should appear

You can't do that with the ID of the page, bcoz you can only tag your friends and pages don't have friends. you could instead access that page with your own facebook ID and then comment on that page. then you could tag your friend in that comment.
