Need some help with Facebook please!!!?

So yesterday was my birthday and I keep getting notifications that people wrote on my timeline.. So whenever I go on my timeline there are no posts that people wrote.. I don't get it... It says they did.. HELP please.

I suspect it is just one of those things. FB usually clears up on its on with such things, but you could have your profile set up so only you can post on your wall or people posted then deleted what they posted, but based on what you said, that seems unlikely. Patience seems to be the key here. FB does dumb things at times, especially during peak usage. Just in case it has something to do with your wall not allowing posts, go to security settings under the arrow that is by your name and home button and scroll down to Timeline and taggings. Click on the edit settings and adjust settings for the various things with the popup window to satisfy your desired security level.

There's stuff that's gone missing from my timeline today too (Posts that I made), I think it's a glitch on Facebook's end.
