So this is Kate, I don't have an account so I'm using Sam's account.

So my ex and I are friends. We hang out and talk a good amount. We're still close

But my name in his phone is "#notwithit"... WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN??

I called him out on it and he said it was a complete joke and it's not bad... But I don't get it? Am I getting hurt over nothing?

How do I stop being so uptight and not care? When he jokes around, he uses hashtags which is kind of annoying


(He's super nice to me. We always do stuff together, like dinner or massage or the mall, and we take turns paying for each other). I believe a lot of the reason was my fault for the break up, even though he's the one that ended to relationship after almost 2 years back in March.

We didn't really talk for a couple of months after the break up, but once I got home from college, we talked a lot more.

When you post things on tumblr, you tag things with hash-tags. So the tag (aka. Label) he has for you is that you're his ex. Which is supposedly funny because you ARE his ex, but you're still friends, and he still has your number, when the normal thing to do is delete everything related to your ex.

I know it's not funny, but he's a boy, what do you expect? It probably means nothing.

What does it mean? If it means he isn't with you any more, then he is referring to you as "it" - which doesn't seem like a label you'd hang on a friend. If it means you're not "with it" - meaning you're a bit clueless about something - then it's also not something to hang on a friend. Ask him to explain EXACTLY what it means while looking you in the eye so you can tell if he's lying.

I don't do Tumblr, Facebook or any of that other stuff and I find people who can't discuss something without labeling those they are talking to with some insulting hash tag to be - to take their approach to it - #immature. It's like that stupid TV commercial where the guy talking describes someone he doesn't agree with as #headbandontootight - suggesting the sweat band was affecting his thinking; i.e., stupid.

exes will aways "scare away" any serius boyfriends you have, or some one who want to me serious after they meet you.
