No but Spongebob is going on a production hiatus similar to the hiatus it went through in 2004 when The Spongebob Squarepants movie was in development. I'm sure the series will resume after Spongebob Squarepants movie 2 is finished and released in 2015, eleven years after the first.

no, don't worry! nickelodeon confirmed it on their twitter; there's gonna be more episodes in 2014 and there's also gonna be a new spongebob movie in 2015! yay

No. That's a very weak rumor that has been circulating. If it was going to end you'd know it. Btw, haven't you seen them advertising the new special coming in January?
