How to market a Gay social networking site? Where do you go?

Hello, I'm currently trying to start up a Gay Social networking site called HomoSpace.net. Anyhow any ideas of the best way to promote the site? Also AdSense will not allow sites due to its name. (Even though its not a porn site)

So in that in question which sites do you visit? What are you looking for?
Marketing techniques would be greatly arpreciated! Thanks

This in a local sense:
If it's not a dating site and just a social site, you could probably advertise it in youth centres, social centres and stuff like that. They always have stuff like that in the ones in my city, to promote celebration of diversity and to give people a place to express themselves etc.
Also try pin up boards in universities and shopping centres and stuff like that. If there are websites that you visit a lot that are relating to the gay community or gay rights or something, you could email them and ask them to put your site in their 'also visit' (or whatever) lists, or put up a small banner.
