Is it weird to message girls who don't know you on twitter?

So I shouted out this girl on twitter because she followed me back. I was like "S/O to my new follower @her twitter name she's gorgeous". She replied "Thank you so much!" and favorited and retweeted it.Then I replied "You are very welcome" and she favorited that. Now me and this girl don't know each at all but we she goes to one if the high schools in my district actually our rival school. I wanna message her on there because i really do think she's gorgeous but will she get creeped out since she doesn't know me
