how can i set up a facebook page?

Go to http://www.facebook.com.au, sign up, enter your information and provide an e-mail address for them to send the confirmation to. When you get your confirm link you can follow it to the sign in page, put in the e-mail address and password you chose and log in.

go to http://www.facebook.com
click "register" or "sign up"
enter all the information it asks for including name and activities and movies and stuff like that if you want your friends to be able to see it.
upload a photo of you if you have one on your computer to make it your profile picture
if you know friends, search their names in the top right box that says search or tell them to search for you and find you if you cant find them.
it will take a little while to get used to it but once you do its really not hard and its worth it.
