Facebook privacy help?

Everytime i like a picture or comment a picture of a friend that's not mutual to my friends, my dad or my sister f, it shows up on their news feed. My dad was showing me his facebook how it showed a comment i posted on my friends picture, and my dad doesnt have him as a friend so why is it showing up on my dads news feed and also my sisters news feed and other friends?

Wow, of all the government and corporate agencies spying on you and compiling a dossier on you from your facebook account, this is what you worry about? Sheesh.

That's just how Facebook rolls. Changing your privacy settings only goes so far but it doesn't help with this at all.

That's why I've stopped commenting completely and only send messages.
