Do you think Chinese products are cheaper in the shops?
Well they are not!

Chinese manufacturers make products cheaper than UK firms, but that does not make them cheaper in the shops, it just makes the profits bigger.

At the factory Chinese products cost typically 1% of their UK High Street price, by the time they have a known brand on the label the other 99% materialises, the price is the same or more, not cheaper. That's just propaganda to negate the damage they do!

These products make huge amounts of money for the Government, Banks and retailers, making them very rich!

But the people who buy these products, who believe they are cheaper pay a far higher price than the one on the price tag, in unemployment, no future, decaying schools, no cash for life saving drugs, no social care, crime, homelessness, failing education system and no growth for industry.

The people who are the victims of this insanity, are those who pay for it , they are the poor who get poorer, who fund the increasing wealth of the rich.

Is a Burberry coat, an M&S suit, a Barbour waterproof, a Musto jacket an economy, cheap product? They are perceived as prestige, premium products with an appropriately high price, all made cheaply in China, but without a Made in China label!

Isn't it about time the requirement for Country of Origin to be clearly declared on the product that Labour scrapped, opening the floodgates for these overpriced , cheaply made Chinese products to saturate the market, destroy industry, and increase unemployment, be re-introduced so those of us who care about the Nation can stop being fleeced and return the population to employment and prosperity for all, not just the already rich ?

For someone nicknamed Sherlock, you're not too bright on this are you? Did you just figure it out?

Is it up to the consumers to demand where their products to be made from? No! The corporations do that! And in a capitalist world, profit outweighs anything - do you see a diamond cutter doing it for free? Do prestigious brands spend more on making a handbag than the price of selling it? They'd go bankrupt! It's economy 101 isn't it?

And governments? If they throttle the companies in their country any more, all firms would go overseas, where they have to pay less tax, have less restrictions, and then Brits won't benefit from their profits in tax, but still pay the same price buying their stuff.

Britain is in a double-dip recession BECAUSE of higher taxes, the stupidity of bankers (RBS in chief), the population spending less, and less investments. Germany and China are keeping healthy profits because they have low taxes, offer flexible policies and incentive for more investment.

Ask yourself - if these problems are that simple to solve, why the hell haven't they done it already?

Because it ISN'T. As much as I hate the government becoming distanced to the general public, the fact remains those in power look at a bigger picture, they know more and they have the consider more, half the jargon they use can't even be translated to the public.

And what if they force-label everything? Do you think the public gives a damn? Primark is notorious in their cheaply manufactured clothes, but millions still buy it, because it's CHEAP.

For one living in one of the foremost capitalist economies in the world, you are ideally socialist, fact is, THE WORLD ISN'T.
