I can't seem to change my profile picture on facebook without issues?? HELP?
Every time i try to change my profile pic on facebook (as in a photo which has been my profile pic previously that i want to be again) it makes me re crop it to create a completely separate photo, when i want the same one with all the comments/likes etc. help me facebook experts!!
just to let you know its a new facebook now and its changed so the black box is now a white box Confused and its still making me crop!x

Its as simple as it sounds. Simply click on profile, where you'll be taken to your profile. Hit the photos tab under your current profile picture. Click on the picture you want to make as your Profile Picture, and it will open up in that 'black box'.
Down the left hand side, you will see a list of tabs : Download picture, tag picture, MAKE PROFILE PICTURE etc.
Click on 'make profile picture' and a window will open to confirm that action. Click OK, and you'll be redirected to your profile page. No cropping involved Smile

The instructions here worked for me. I hope Facebook fixes this, because it's a pain in the butt to have to go through all those steps when before all you had to do was click on "make profile picture".

I also had success with my husband's account by moving the picture he wanted to the top left corner when in the profile album. But that didn't work for me. The info in that link was the only thing that worked.
