Curious about facebook relationship status change?

So I met this girl a week ago at a fitness test thing and we hit it off pretty fast, she asked if I wanted to be her workout buddy, and whenever I couldn't think of something to say she kept the conversation going. I got her number and texted her the next day, but the next day she asked if she could add me on Facebook and of course I said yes.

When we were Facebook friends I glanced through her profile and noticed she was single. Over the past week I've been sick so we haven't worked out together, but we've been sending massive messages to each other through Facebook and are planning all sorts of things to do and she invited me to a movie night with her friends tonight.

But today she mentioned something about her birthday and I went back to look at her profile to remember the date and I noticed she'd hidden her relationship status so it doesn't say single or in a relationship or anything. Can someone tell me what this means?

this means she is trying to hide her relationship status from the public
