Am I just being an idiot or am I actually connecting with the spirit world?

When I was a kid I used to mess about with a quiche board. After a while I thought the whole connecting with spirits was a bunch of crap. I always believed in karma and god, but I never really believed that you can communicate with spirits. Thought the whole thing is ridiculous make-believe crap.

On my 20th birthday, a friend (call her S) asked me questions about my friend's band (call him G) via facebook. In the past I had a falling out with (G), so I hadn't seen him since beginning of the year. All I knew was that in time I was going to patch things up and show him I'm not stupid. I told her about this too.

It just so happens that (G) had died on my 20th birthday without my knowledge till 2 days later. This is the first death for me, and I am real devastated, also I wish our last time together was not a bad one.

I was having a convo with my friend (A) about the good things (G) used to say to me, and the awesome stuff he used to wear. I had my phone, but the internet wasn't switched on. "hey lets look up that pic of him, i just need to turn on internet first" i said to (A). As soon as I said that, the internet automatically switched on at the top of the screen, while both 'wireless' and 'mobile data' options remained 'OFF'. I clicked on the facebook app, and (G's) facebook profile automatically showed up without me doing anything. I never had him as a friend because of our conflict, but there was a 'friend request sent' which I have no recollection doing so. I knew for sure that I had not looked at his profile since the previous day. I didn't know what to believe, but I must say it happened around 9.30pm on Saturday where (G)'s band would start their set at a bar.

That night I had run into many different people including those born on my birthday and people who know him. The free internet randomly stopped the next day shortly after I woke up in my bed.

After dinner I was talking to my grandfather about (G), then I went into a private room to get ahold of my pathetic tears. I opened the facebook app on my phone, the screen went white, then the search came on, which I got rid of but then (G's) profile was back! At that point I thought it couldn't be right, because I had clicked on tones of pages, profiles that very day.

One morning, the shower door automatically closed in a very unusual way, but as I said I don't know what to believe, and I'm afraid of ridicule.

At his funeral, two doves flew into the sky. The very next day, I found two injured pigeons in my backyard, so I put them in a chicken cage to recover. One of them died right infront of me, and the other flew away the next morning. I never find pigeons that are injured. My dad and I got into the car to drive to the burial, and the first two songs we heard on the radio were in relation to (G).

I feel like every street sign and shop is of his name or some hobby he has. Why would he give a damn about contacting me who he hasn't seen for ages if that's what's going on?

As I said earlier, I have never experienced stuff like this before, not even when I'm pissed drunk. His profile and band page had randomly popped up a couple other times, but the free internet was one off. I'm just wondering if anyone else could relate to this at all?
