Is ok to add random people as friends on Facebook?

Hi I'm 16. Some random people, (their teens, don't know them) had added me as friends on Facebook. But these people are friends with my friends. So I was just thinking, is it ok to add people you don't know but you do know that they r friends with your other friends. If so, is it weird to add them even though we don't live in the same town.

No. Some people add anybody. A big mistake, they just want a lot of friends, they don't care who. Just because they are a friend of a friend does not mean they are anyone to trust.

You re kinda too young to be on facebook . you never add anyone you do not know that has facebook accounts. i gotta let you know something. now ths year facebook isnt allowing younger teenagers posting anything on their timeline comments walls or neither posting anything gotta look so bad that shouldnt be on there on your wall.? you only allow to sent friend requests to the people you really know in real life such keeping in touch with your close friends, best friends. childhood friends. family members . no strangers that aint your friends that you never meet before. the reason why is facebook wanted everyone be safe and wanted users be protected when theyre on line on facebook. so it better not bother to sent anyone you do not know her or him . only the people that really know who you are outside like in school., church,threw friends to friends , cousins. aunts. .. for the keeping your timeline profile on private if you want to share something with your closer best friends .. you also remember not to make any trouble with other users or they will sent report to facebook that she or he has been abusie by you and you will loose your fb account or be removed . for your question about the people that your friends has other group of friends? that you dont know them very well. well i think better you not added those friends that you really do not know ? you should only accept the people that your best friends from school also have the same classes with you and is friends with your other friends that you had met , knew from same class. not many facebook people wont accept strangers to be their new friends. if they do not know them at all. its doesnt matter if everyone lives in different states or different town.to be friends with them. but its better you only accept the people who wont make any problems and that you really trust by having some friendships and getting to know them where they really come from . before you dedicate that you really think she or he is a good person. there alot of no good people on there . so be careful who you become friends with.

Its Against Facebook's Terms of Service to Add People That you Do Not Know So i Don't Recommend Being Friends Strangers But if you Do Please Becareful It Can Be Dangerous Sometimes If you Friend people That you Dont Know Especially Because Not Everybody is Who They Say They Are
