facebook friends online?

on facebook, like just now it says "so and so" accepted ur friend request. but then when i look @ the bottom it says she isnt online....? im confused! plz help best answer

they could've answered from a cell phone. or might just be offline because they don't wanna have any conversations.

The most likely answer is that they did it from their phone.

I get text messages from Facebook saying I have a friend request and then I just text message back to accept it.

Perhaps she was only checking her account and didn't want to speak to anyone at the time, thus turning off her chat and appearing offline. Otherwise it could just be facebook messing up.
