Should I delete my ex off Facebook?
It's been a month now that he broke up with me and things around me changed a LOT. I keep looking trough his profile on Facebook, Twitter... any social networking sites (creepy as it sounds, I know). He told be that we could stay friends and that he doesn't want to make you friendship awkward... But we barely talk... So what's the point? I know that even if I delete him off everything I'll still be stalking trough his profiles... At one point I want to know his updates and how he as been doing so far, but just to see his name on my news feed makes my heart stop... Any advice?

I'd rip the band-aid off and un-friend him on all social networking. You're torturing yourself. How are you ever supposed to get over it if you won't let go? Time to move on to bigger and better things.

There is a button on peoples profiles that says "follow" if you unfollow him, that means you have him as a friend but you just don't see what he posts on his newsfeed

Just disabled his stuff so it won't appear on your newsfeed but don't delete him if you still want to remain friends and try to distract yourself with something else. Go out with friends or talk with other guys and keep yourself busy.

If it helps you get over him, might as well delete him. If you had forgotten about him and moved on then I'd say keep it but since it's making it harder to not focus on him I'd say it's best to unfriend

There is this dude I like and I do almost the same thing. But I had to get a grip and stop! You really need to stop if you are to move on with your life. I know it is hard and will take some time. You do not have to unfriend him or anything but if the posts are heart troubling you could block his posts. There are other things you can do to not see the posts. But do what is best for you.

You are extremely insecure. Not only should you delete him off all sites, but you should stop using the internet for 7 days in a row.

I know you don't have the will power to stop using internet for a week, so I'm sure I just wasted my time posting this answer.

Drop his name from your facebook but continue to stalk his site. that way you have control of when you want to see his updates.

I don't know why it's called stalking when reading it is the point of social media as often as you'd like.

In your case, you're looking for closure and you're weaning yourself off a relationship. You're lucky you have this to help you. Use it.

I'm sorry about your break-up, good luck, and I'm sure you'll find someone better who deserves you more.
