Please help me. Facebook tags are not working properly. Thanks!?

I want my my BF's ex to have access to his tags/pics. Only she and him are friends in FB not us and although I have modified both of our accounts' privacy yet no luck. I have changed the settings: "Who can see things on my timeline?" and "How can I manage tags people add and tagging suggestions?" and she's on it and when I checked "View as *insert name here*" our pics are not there.
Most of our uncommon friends tag him/his pictures and they show up when I am viewing his profile as me, I even checked on his friends' profile yet it's private. This is really frustrating.

A tag is a special kind of link. When you tag someone, you create a link to their timeline. The post you tag the person in may also be added to that person’s timeline. For example, you can tag a photo to show who’s in the photo or post a status update and say who you’re with. Tags in photos and posts from people you aren't friends with may appear in timeline review where you can decide if you want to allow them on your timeline. You can also choose to review tags by anyone, including your friends.
