Can I open a new Facebook account with my "old" email address?

If I close (i.e. permanently delete) my Facebook account, and wait until the two-week "cooling off" period has expired, would I be able to open a new one using the same email address?

Yes,I think so,but your old Facebook (the one that you are deleting) must be fully permanently deleted before you can use the address and password associated with this account for your new Facebook account or you will lose access to one of the accounts,due to the fact that Facebook recognises accounts by the e-mail address and password provided when signing up for an account.Good Luck!!
