Do your feelings get hurt when someone denies your Facebook Friend's Request?

I often assumed they didn't know I added them but the fact is they denied my friend request. Yes it hurts but what's the point of adding someone who doesn't want to be a friend with you?

if people deny your request your probably an obnoxious bitch no one likes. either that or someone just doesn't want to be on ur list. but if so many people deny your request that you have to post this on facebook your probably annoying and no one likes you and the friends you do have are your family and ppl who pity you. sorry but true.

I'd be devastated because only those people who are already my friends are my Facebook friends. Geez, I can't imagine anyone tossing away a few decades of friendship by denying my friend request.
