Why do conservatives pretend to know a lot about economics when the stuff they say is just embarrassing ?

All anyone really needs to know is that our current leadership has buried U.S. citizens financially by way of wildfire taxation. It may be difficult to process in your selectively blind liberal mind, but the numbers of working class poor has grown to mammoth proportions and home foreclosures are at all time high levels. Trillion dollar spending by Obama and his partisan drones in congress includes bailouts of large industries, funding for schooling and education for ILLEGAL immigrants, long term military occupations overseas, rewarding special interests, growing an already out of control welfare state and bribes to enemies of our allies (to name a few). Are you also aware that the recent AHCA documentation was chock full of hidden tax and spend addendums? Economically speaking our government has failed the public in every possible way. Given these facts, what could be more embarrassing (besides seeing your own reflection)?

This is a great question!

When it comes to economics....a "Trickle Down Economy" NEVER works as history has taught us again and again.
For an economy to thrive, it must GROW from the bottom up and bloom. When people have jobs, savings and money....they will buy goods and services locally and this should give others jobs. We pay our taxes and expect good value from our government. We expect that banks, securities, finance and investing will be regulated by law for our own protection.

But CONServatives like to take the regulations and laws and punishment for crimes made by banks, securities dealers, finance officers and other investors away!
Hey, remember the Silverado Savings and Loan Scandal that the Bush family was part of?
And then what happened the minute the Bush's get into office? Our economy gets run into the ditch and people lose their pensions, savings and mortgages and the Bush's wanted to put our Social Security into the stock market, too!

Ever notice how BADLY the economy works after the Republicans have been in office.....Oh, who was in office before the Great Depression? Remember?
