free apps voor ipod touch?

i want to buy an ipod touch 4 generation.
but i was wondering are the apps for the ipod for free? or do you have to pay for them ?
are apps voor facebook/twitter/hyves(dutch social network)/msn free?
if they are, where can i find them?

and does anyone know some other nice FREE apps i should surely download once i get my ipod?

some apps are free, others aren't. the facebook, YouTube, etc apps are all free. It depends on what you like. if you like virtual games, then try trade nations, tap zoo, city story, godfinger, or virtual villagers. If you like logic games then try logic gamebox. If you're into actual games try Papi jump, action potato, or fruit ninja.

Some apps are paid and some are free..the good ones and the ones you want are always the paid ones (lame).
There's a few sites that get you paid apps for free though. The one I like best is freeitunesgift.com because it has the best selection. What they do is you register with a PayPal account and they send you a list of apps you can download. When you've gotten them from the app store, you send them the receipt and they reimburse you for them to your PayPal. Like I said, some have lame lists of apps, but this site has ton of good apps (mostly games as well).
o, and you definitely should get Angry Birds...that one has free and paid versions...sooo good!
