Help, please answer? about apps and phones and stuff?

i want to get a new phone and am looking at plans and stuff. i want to get the internet partly so i can get apps such as snap chat, instagram and kik, to communicate with my friends who all have those apps, so does it use up GB's or MG's where you are on the app, not the internet?

I don't have a clues what MGs are but all the apps you mentioned require the internet to function e.g. kik sends the messages through the internet.

If you're asking whether those apps use the internet while they're open; no, as far as I know. They only use the internet while sending something.
