Stop the chatter inside your own head. Take a quiet hour and learn: http://www.dhammatalks.net/Ajahn_Brahm/I...Wisdom.mp3

Impossible. What are you focusing on? You can only describe the thing you are focusing on by referencing things other than the thing. When in doubt, think of Hitler.

Don't be influenced by anyone or anything outside of your own self-existence. Don't believe in anything that others will try to force you to believe. Be self-dependent and self-concentrated. Don't follow trends so you won't be in the worldwide controversy of fashion competition. Don't follow anything. Don't follow people on Twitter that follow people on twitter. Don't follow anyone. Follow yourself and follow God for you can only do this through Christ who strengthens you. There can be no peace if you interact with anyone. It just can't be. The only peace you can ever have is isolation. We think we can live in peace but there is no peace in earth. Not anymore. There'll never be peace as long as there's more than one person. Peace doesn't exist. But to have peace in yourself, isolate yourself. Buy an island. You see what I mean by there is no peace. It's just a desire. It's only a desire.
