how did Facebook become so much more popular then Myspace?
They are both basically the same but all of a sudden Facebook overtook the social network.

A while back when Rupert Murdoch (Fox News, Fox TV) bought MySpace and turned it into one big hulking advertisement vehicle. Facebook continued to have a clean easy to use interface and not alot of annoyances whereas MySpace became quite bulky and slow and the advertisements and pushing of celebrities, their for profit games and constant spammers ran many off.

It's all seemingly a fad. someday soon, we'll be asking "how did Facebook
lose everything?"
Social sites are good. I hope that Facebook doesn't fade away.
