Do I seem inebriated and if so, how badly?
I am part of a research study I am personally conducting to finish a master's thesis I have been working on for over a year. I am studying the effects of inebriation on cognitive ability. We all know and it has been widely documented that alcohol consumption affects physical abilities but cognitive abilities have been somewhat, not largely but somewhat, ignored. So as part of research, my partner and I have offered ourselves up to scrutiny. We both have imbibed large amounts of liquor, 80 proof vodka, to the degree that we both know beyond doubt we are physically compromised. We are both writing posts on different avenues of social media. My partner is covering social sites such as fb where posts are made for comment or not whereas I am covering sites aimed at the sharing of intellectual information such as here, the popular ask and answer sites. We are aiming to determine by as many replies as possible just how inebriated we appear. We do not want typing skills judged as that is in the realm of physical ability, but only the gist of the post. This of course cannot be used as official research but we are conducting this as a jumping off point in fashioning further studies. Please let me know how rational this post seems. This is important research which could have far reaching results for much of community/social life so please post honestly. I'm not sure how we will judge the best answers but I assure you every answer will be considered. For your information, we have each ingested 1/3 of a fifth, 750ml, of 80 proof or 40% alcohol by volume vodka mixed with a total of 10 ounce of peach flavored soda. We are in a controlled environment with help, should we need it, close at hand. Thanks for your help.

Your post was completely rational. It was intelligent and to the point. There was no signs of a drunk person writing, and if you had not informed me that you were drunk I would have not known. As far as I can see you didn't go off topic and I was really shocked at how well you did. I have seen my facebook posts after a bottle of moscato and I was rambling and the posts were deleted the moment I sobered. Good Job!! Hope you guys don't get sick!

" Your post was completely rational. It was intelligent and to the point. There was no signs of a drunk person writing "

This is exactly why it was boring LOL... That said I highly doubt your drunk or you really have a tolerance for alcohol there

But at the same time if you were drunk I probably couldn't understand what this was about

Or you could have such a high cognitive ability [like me]

That being drunk doesn't phase you.. Btw I'm 19.. in the us 21+ is drinking age.. in south africa where I am ATM though.. 18+ works

You know what would be better? But if you really feel like doing it.. give me some cred... The cognitive functions and what is said/heard etc while your on something like marijuana or weed or very special drugs

I wonder if there is a drug that would help one " know the future " especially if your naturally already know certain things that you can't explain [ Like I do at times ]

That said most psychics are scamsters like 99.99%
