Shouldn't " Anonymous" spend less time and money...?
On splashy, M.T.V. style adds which only serve to make the (loose organization) look cloak and dagger cool. Shouldn't they spend more time putting a grass roots movement together convincing young people to scream through their vote? Congress, Senate, your local officials... they all need to go. Silly masks and Molotov cocktails are not going to work in this country, What we need is a well informed and active voting populous. So is this organization really out for change? Or is this just more glitzy, (Reality), entertainment designed to convince a nation of couch potatoes that they don't have to actually participate in government... as long as they "Like it" on facebook?

Well, I'm pretty sure Anonymous is totally unconcerned with nationality. Its not a US movement, rather a global movement targeting all governments and corporations that put the interests of profit before the people or planet.
They don't want people to vote. We have voted. Voting got us here; a nation of couch potatoes that think voting can replace direct action and personal participation in our communities. Their "ads" or vids are geared to inspire people towards the radical idea that they can Do things to improve their environs and lives; as opposed to voting for someone who promises to do something for them. They spend more time and money feeding people and helping the underprivileged then they do on those vids.
Without direct action African-Americans would never have won equality, India would still be under foreign rule, etc. Voting never won anybody their freedoms nor changed the status quo. Only global revolution will do, and Anonymous is only planting the seed of Ideas.

The problem with using votes is not the use of the vote, but the lack of choice. At least in the US, there is no real difference between Democrats and Republicans, they cling to ideology and their own power, not the power of the people.
