please how do i generate traffic to my sites ?

please i have been in internet marketing for like over 4 months writing and writhing articles without any records of sales.Please can anyone here show me how to make the first sales through generating traffic

4 months is nothing. What are your visitor numbers? Do your visitors mostly come from Google search? How long do visitors stay, how many pages each visit.

if you are selling stuff put some of it on ebay then in the description tell what site it is coming from and maybe they will visit your site to see what else you have and then spread the word.

If you're writing content and you're getting visitors but not making sales... then it may not be your writing. It may be your product, the words you're using, etc.

Short term: try PPC (pay per click) to test different headings and phrases, and OBSERVE what happens - clicks and sales.

Take the phrases that work best and start re-writing your content to include those sentences.

Long term: learn copywriting (do a search in google for copywriting tips.

You've been "in internet marketing" as in you're an Internet Marketer? or You have been doing Internet Marketing for your site and haven't made any sales?

If you're an Internet Marketer and are asking this question, perhaps you are in the wrong field.

If you're doing Internet Marketing for you site and not getting results, check your analytics. Thats the best place to start. If you're getting visitors to your site, you can find out a lot about what they're doing and where they are leaving your site. Also, article marketing (which sounds like what you're doing) doesn't drive traffic to your site, it builds links. If you want to drive traffic, use twitter. If you want to get leads, do targeted ppc ads or work on your SEO.

As previously said, 4 months is a short time. It depends on your keyword research. Did you find keywords that are too compettitive or maybe easy to rank for but no search volume.
