Just an old friend or romantic potential?

I recently reconnected with an acquaintance from college. He saw me around town at a club. But I had to leave so didn't get to really say hi. He sent me a Facebook message telling me our encounter was brief. However I didn't see the message until a month later. When I saw it I felt bad for delaying to reply. I gave him my number in the message and he's texted me. Since then we've communicated through text. He asked me how I was doing after a bad cold and he remembers little things I tell him and teases me about it. Last week we hung out again and got drinks. He then invited me to a Super Bowl party I couldn't attend. But I made it up by inviting him to a dinner tomorrow...it's doubtful he's available. When we hung out he was playful and attentive. He worried about my getting home safely and called to see that I was good. He seems sweet and thoughtful. We're in our mid 20s. So what do all think? Old friends or a romantic potential?

Really too early to tell now... Sounds like he's interested, but may just be friendly. Wait to see how a few meet-ups go.

It is too early to tell at the moment, it sounds like he definitely enjoys your company but whether as a friend or something more it is hard to say. All you can do is continue making plans with each other and see if anything develops and if not, at least you've found an old friend again
