Can you guys explain twitter to me?

Okay so I feel like a monkey with an Amish guy with an iphone when it comes to twitter. No clue how to use it what so ever. I figured I'd sign up since I'm working on becoming a comedian and it seemed like an alright way to just kinda throw my name out there ya'know?

Little did I know how hard it was to do ANYTHING with it XD

So how do you get followers? Talk to people? Do...anything? XD

when you want to tweet something type it up in the message box then click tweet

You post tweets which show up on your followers walls. You get followers similar to facebook... your friends, people that find you interesting etc. Start following other people and interacting using @ replies and you'll slowly gather followers.
