Why does everyone in my school hate me? Is there something wrong with me?

I don't understand what's wrong with me! I feel like some sort of people repellent or something. Everyone seems to hate me at school. I'm really, really quiet and quite reserved, so I'm not that outgoing. For some reason, my name just gotten around and everyone seem to hate me. They'd insult me everyday, calling me a 'weirdo' and a 'freak'. Whenever I achieve something, they'd be like '... (my name) is so disillusioned. That person will never reach his/her dreams.' I think I sometimes come off as arrogant, so I try and talk to people but whenever I do, they'd call me 'fake' and 'trying too hard' and whenever I stop speaking to people, they'd call me 'dck' and self absorbed.

Please. I know it sounds that I might be exaggerating, but I'm not. Even when I'm on facebook/twitter they'd put an indirect status/tweet about me. I don't understand I don't know why people care about me so much, when I'm usually on my own doing my own thing.

Your better then them, that's why. Don't let it get to you. That's what people do because quire frankly they don't have anything better to do. I'm the type of student to get my work done on time, answer questions, etc. Many students took that the wrong way and would just be like yea that teacher is favoring you. I stood up and told them actually I'm the only one doing my work, maybe if you guys started being nice to her and did what she has asked of you guys, she would like you guys as well. You come off to them as the quiet, respectful student sitting by herself for example. Who cares? They do! If they do, and they are willing to talk about you or try to make a big deal out of it, ask them why. If you don't want to ask them, just ignore it. I'm not sure what grade your in. But people go through different phases, and it always happens. Anyways, just ignore them and don't even listen to them, they don't care about school, all they care about it is picking on others.
