I'm getting Facebook emails notifications,and friends I don't even know I don't' use facebook how do I resolve this thanks ps this is my main email account

Is it invitations? well you just gotta ignore those invitations if you don't want facebook

If you have an account and you don't want to use it anymore, delete/disable your account

Your email address has gotten into the hands of spammers. A common ruse they use is to preten to be a legitimate site (like facebook) to trick you into typing in usernames, passwords, etc.

The only way to put a dent in it is to add that email to your spam or junk mail list. Then your email service will know in the future that it's fake and send it directly into the trash.

Under "Account Settings", go to "Notifications" and disallow the notifications to be sent to your email inbox.
