why did my old crush ask for my number?

My old crush I havent spoke with in a year asked for my number on facebook, I gavee him my number but he never texted me back. I dont care really but im just still curious as to why he asked. I asked him why all of a sudden with my number
included but he never replied, he only saw the message.

you shouldnt gave your number to your crush because if he isnt going be truely a friend or you and not talk or text you back neither then he not anyone you shouldnt worried about and if he just going keep at it not evenly talk to you on facebook or on your text messages then it better you deleted him as facebook friend then because what a point to be a friend with someone who not going to speak to you at all just answer your messages that you had send to him i bet he just ignored you and just wanted to make you to text him for no reason. you need to stop texting him because that not good to text messages someone who not being nice to be friend with you . i bet also the reason he wanted your number maybe his friends want it and says stuffs about you that you dont know about . next time you shouldnt be friend with him if he is not going reply you back. and if in case if you havent heard or get any calls from him at all few more weeks then it better you unfriend him on facebook , dont talk to him anymore. . that reason it not good ideas to gave any information about You personality to anyone who you dont really really know at all because if he just your new facebook friend or at school its not safe to give any phones numbers to any boys or girls because they can gave it away to unknown strangers and call you or sent something that doesnt sound right . so becareful who you meet online like facebook , any where else. . that how people can be very bad person.
