How do I control what friends see on the new Facebook?!?

With the old facebook, I had my privacy settings so that friends never saw when I wrote on someone's wall, liked a status, etc...how do I change my settings with the changed facebook so that my friends can't see my activity? Will give best answer to the first person to help me!

go to privacy and then the who can see what page

scroll onto settings. click privacy settings. click profile information. scroll down and find on the left hand side that says posts by me. go to the right of that click on the drop down box and click customize. a box should come up and the first option should say make this visible to and click on the drop down box. click on only me and save it and Nobody but you will see what you do. not even your friends.

P.S. When you write on someones wall tht also becomes their post. if they have it enabled, anyone can see what you post. i would go with messaging its the exact same thing and you know nobody else sees it.

The second option is "Personal Info"........You have to set this to "only me"........So click on the box right to this.....Select "customize".....A new box will appear......Select "only me" from the drop down list.......Then your friends won't see what you are doing ( like writing on someone's wall, liked a status etc. )

You can change the privacy settings of your wall by going to your facebook profile and clicking the lock which appears beside the 'Share' button

You can put your friends to private by clicking the pencil icon which appears besides your friends box.

You can change all other settings by clicking Settings at the top right side of the page. If you want to change privacy settings, scroll down and click 'Manage' which appears besides Privacy
