Deactivated twitter.?

I deactivated my twitter last week and reactivated yesterday but i had 0 followers and 0 followings and my timeline had nothing except my tweets. I heard from people that you have to deactivate and activate again to retain the followers. Help? Will i lose my twitter following and followers forever or am i supposed to wait for 24hrs?

You didn't loose any of your followings or your followers. Twitter needs time to restore your data, so you have to have between 1 and 24 hours. When I deactivated my twitter, my followings/followers were restored in one hour.
